A Dentist Who Takes Time to Listen
After years of working in larger practices, Dr. Patel wanted to practice in a setting where time, attention, and clear communication remained central to patient care. When he took over this longstanding Chapel Hill practice in 2026, he saw an opportunity to continue its legacy while bringing his own approach to modern family dentistry.
With training in comprehensive and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Patel brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to care. He previously practiced at Zen Triangle Dentistry and continues to expand his clinical training through continuing education, including additional training in implant dentistry and conscious sedation.

A Legacy of Care in Chapel Hill
Dr. Susanne P. Jackson grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, and earned both her Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
She joined this Chapel Hill practice in 2002 and went on to lead it for more than 20 years before transitioning ownership to Dr. Neel V. Patel in 2026. Today, she continues to care for patients alongside Dr. Patel, carrying forward the practice’s longstanding tradition of compassionate, patient-centered dentistry.
Dr. Jackson remains committed to continuing education and is an active member of several professional dental organizations. She has also been recognized as a Top Dentist by Chapel Hill Magazine and among Orange County’s best dentists by Indy Week.
